How Mirror Services Work
What is a Mirror Service?
A mirror service allows you to create a mirrored copy of a valuable item using a Mirror of Kalandra ,
one of the rarest currencies in Path of Exile.
Browse Items
Find the mirror-tier item you want. Check the fee 
listed below the item.
Optionally:
- Use the comparison view to search for potentially better items
- Import Path of Building with the "Copy PoB" button
- View the item on the trade site with the "Trade" button
- Check if the owner is online
Contact Owner
Whisper the item owner in-game to request the mirror service.
Trade Your Mirror
Trade your Mirror of Kalandra to the item owner.
Optionally:
- If the "Safe" indicator is checked, the owner can trade the mirrored copy directly with your Mirror (steps 3+4 combined)
Receive Mirrored Copy
The owner mirrors the item and trades you the mirrored copy.
Pay the Fee
Trade the agreed mirror fee (listed on the item) to complete the service.

How are mirror service fees determined?
Mirror fees are set by item owners.
Fees vary by item quality, rarity, demand and shop policy. The fee is always clearly displayed on each item listing.

Mirror-Worthy Look-Alikes help you find strong alternatives to iconic mirror items.
Not everyone can afford a 5-mirror top-tier craft.
Look-alikes are items that resemble the best crafts in terms of stats and build synergy, but may:
- Have slightly lower tier mods
- Cost significantly less
- Still be build-viable and incredibly strong
This feature makes high-end crafts more accessible and helps players understand the mirror-tier spectrum.
How do you ensure items are real and available?
Every item on OpenMirror is synced to actual trade listings via the official Path of Exile trade API. We don't host submissions or moderate crafts—we index real, public listings only.
This means:
- No ghost items (items that no longer exist)
- No theorycrafts or Path of Building fantasies
- On-sale checks: we know if an item is truly available
- Direct trade links: click through to the live listing
If an item is delisted, it's archived and never lost—you can still view its history.
How do I get my items on OpenMirror?
OpenMirror doesn't handle submissions. We automatically index public listings from the official Path of Exile trade API.
To get your items indexed:
- List your item on the official Path of Exile trade site
- Optionally, post a forum thread or use a shop page like The Settle
- If your item is mirror-worthy, OpenMirror may automatically index it
